Your Privacy, Plainly Stated

This site collects minimal data, uses it only for the stated purpose, and does not sell or share it. This page explains exactly what is collected, what is not, and what your rights are.

Last updated:

Analytics data

Page views, referrer source, device type, and country — collected through privacy-focused analytics. No personal identifiers, no cross-site tracking, no fingerprinting. Data is aggregated and used only to understand which content is useful.

Newsletter email address

If you subscribe to the newsletter, your email address is collected and used only to send the newsletter. It is never sold, shared with third parties for marketing, or used for any other purpose.

Contact inquiries

If you email directly, your address and message are retained to respond to your inquiry. They are not stored in a marketing database or used beyond the scope of the inquiry.

These are explicit commitments — not aspirational statements.

  • Sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties for any commercial purpose
  • Build personal profiles or use behavioural targeting on readers
  • Track individuals across websites or use persistent cross-site identifiers
  • Collect more data than is needed for the stated purpose
  • Send unsolicited email to anyone who has not subscribed to the newsletter
  • Retain data longer than necessary for the purpose it was collected

This site uses the following third-party services. Each may process data according to their own privacy policies.

Analytics provider

Privacy-focused analytics are used to measure traffic patterns without identifying individual users. No personal data is sent to the analytics provider.

Google AdSense

This site may display Google AdSense advertisements. Google may use cookies to personalise ads based on your browsing history. You can opt out via Google's Ad Settings at adssettings.google.com.

Affiliate networks

Affiliate links may pass tracking parameters to attribute purchases or sign-ups. Each affiliate network has its own privacy policy governing how that data is handled on their side.

Email service provider

Newsletter emails are sent through a third-party provider. Subscriber addresses are stored on that platform subject to their own privacy policy. You can unsubscribe at any time via any email.

This site may use cookies for analytics and advertising functionality. Full details of what cookies are set, their purpose, and how to control them are in the Cookie Policy.

You have the following rights over any personal data held about you. To exercise any of them, email directly.

Access

You can request a copy of any personal data held about you — your email address if subscribed, or any information from a direct inquiry.

Correction

If personal data held is inaccurate, you can request it be corrected.

Deletion

You can request deletion of your personal data at any time. Newsletter unsubscribes are honoured immediately. Other data deletion requests are handled within a reasonable timeframe.

Objection
